Please, you must trust God. It's never to late. Look to Him. Acknowledge Him, welcome Him into your situation. He will come and live in you.
Gods Love is higher than your thoughts and he is not willing that any should perish Repent and be restored and Obey the Lord and Joy will return Isaiah 55:9,II Peter 3:9 ,Pslams 126
