You humiliated the devil the day you came to Christ and Jesus made an open display against the powers of darkness, but now your mortally wounded by an enemy you let live and you sit in the House of God disguising your sin. It’s time to get to higher ground and move to where the Cross is. Today, humble yourself, pull off your disguise and the Lord will receive your prayer and shame the devil. Today don’t reject the voice of God lest your compromise swallow you up.
When a society chooses to obey God they will be blessed, when a society chooses to reject God they will be cursed. God wrote one song about Himself and the lyrics to this song is, “God is good and His mercy endures forever.” It doesn’t matter how dark the times get if you make the choice to live for God, your life will be protected and blessed by the hands of a loving Father.
As God’s people we are rediscovering that the greatest weaponry against evil is prayer. We are coming back in 2016 to where the church began – back to a place of believing prayer. We have to remain a spiritual people who fight with spiritual weapons. We must sail past where we are and go deeper into Christ. The enemy has come in like a flood against this generation, but Christ in us will become a standard against every evil power.
God is calling his people to separate form all that weakens them. Jesus wants to set your heart on Calvary’s Hill and light your life with the power of His Holy Spirit. We must choose to let our life be a picture of light for those who are choosing darkness. You are the light of the world and the final hope for this generation.
