When we pray, the Word of God exhorts us to pray “thy Kingdom come thy will be done.” The will of God is to cleanse the sinner and empower those who desire to do His will on earth. God gives us everything we need to do what he has called us to do. We are cleansed and commissioned by God to be His ambassadors here on earth for a divine purpose. The kingdom of God is experienced on earth as it is in Heaven when God’s work takes the preeminence in our heart and we begin to bring the cleansing and a commissioning of God to others.
Have you ever been disappointed in God? Are you among those sitting in the house of God feeling a little outside of it all, wondering if your relationship with God could ever be the way it once was? In these seasons we are prone to make the mistakes. Discouragement and bitterness against God come into the heart when the plan doesn’t move forward like we thought it should move forward. Your plans may have amounted to nothing but God’s plan is still ongoing and God’s plan is the best plan of all. God hasn’t written you off, He has not forgotten you and the best for your life is yet to come. Today, if you are hungry and thirsty come home to God.
If we are not careful with the things of God something in our heart can close off to who Jesus is and what His purpose is or our lives. Don’t be caught blind in this generation because you crafted another Jesus in your heart. Do we have the courage to humble ourselves and say God our ways are not your ways? We won’t see the real Jesus unless we say blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord. When we open our heart to what He wants for our life, Jesus will shine through you in the darkness.
There is a moment coming to this world where everything that’s manmade and everything that professes to be to be of God will. In spite of the darkness that will be on the world, there will be a people who are going to sing a song of glory who have an unshakable ability to worship in these last days. This song cannot be sung if your value system is still in the world. As the land grows darker those who have Heaven’s value system (which is a value system for souls) those who have Calvary’s Kingdom planted in their heart will understand God’s keeping power and His willingness to forgive. We must learn to sing and rejoice that we are left on this earth for the sake of the people who need to know God.
God invites us to come and reason with Him so He can give us is heart for all humanity. We cannot bless God and curse people who God made in His image. The violence we let get a hold of our spirit will consume us. It is so important that we ask God to help us reason with Him until we agree with His ways. God wants to give us a clean speech so our prayers can be heard and we can cry out for those who are wrapped in grave clothes. We are called to be of a different spirit and to be a voice of forgiveness and love so we can push back the darkness. What do people think of Jesus because of you? Does your life carry the fragrance of Christ? It’s time to reason again and say, “Lord I choose life and love.”
This is a message about Time Square Church and the next thirty years. It is imperative that we become a people who learn to say yes to God. The eyes of the Lord are going to and fro looking for somebody that He can show Himself strong to. Will you abandon your plans and your image of yourself and not allow yourself to be hindered by your own sense of smallness? When God opens a door for you will you go through so that the Kingdom of God can go forward through your life? Say, “Yes”, and God will do the rest.
