When humanity wants to be its own God and government desires to become “god” to the people, they will attempt to pass laws against prayer. As Christians, we must not let the window of prayer be closed even for one day. It’s time to pray and press into the power of God because He desires to show us His willingness to be merciful.

Are you experiencing a season of despair where you find yourself confused about the direction your life is taking? The devil’s plan us to convince you that God doesn’t hear your cry. On the contrary, it is in our valley experience that we learn more about the depth of God and we realize that what we are experiencing is so much bigger than we can understand. The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him and it is at your lowest point in your life that He will whisper a profound secret in your heart.

Jesus must be first in everything, even when it is inconvenient or when it is hard. We are not called to self-gratification and ease, there is a cost to serving God. As humans, we have this innate ability to shrug off the Word of God. You are bearing good fruit don’t be deviated from prayer and the power that God has placed inside of you. Stay in the Word and close to the Cross. Don’t go back to the person you left behind. It’s Christ in us that is our treasure and we must bring this treasure to others.

We are living in an extremely lawless time. Jesus said in the last days lawlessness will abound to the point where the love of many will grow cold. We are in a spiritual war and it can’t be won by human effort. We must put on the full armor of God to stand against the arguments of Satan that goes against the will and the ways of God. We can fight the darkness by being a lover of truth. Don’t live in a spiritual halfway house, find the will of God and embrace the full journey and the full supply of Himself that He gives to complete the journey. Let your cry be, “Lord my heart is open, help me and give me an inner supply of your power and strength.”

The Word of God will bring God Himself to glory in the people and God will do for us what only God can do. We must never be under the ministry of people that get there by natural means. The Word should challenge our unbelief and cause us to believe in the supernatural. We must believe that God is for us and is willing to do in us and through us and for us what only God can do. When you go home today don’t weep, instead determine in your heart to believe God for the impossible.
