The Eternal Hall of Shame

Jeremiah 20:10-11: “For I heard many mocking, fear on every side. ‘Report,’ they say, ‘and we will report it.’ All my acquaintances watch for my stumbling, saying, ‘Perhaps he can be induced, then we will prevail against him, and we will take our revenge on him,’ but the Lord is with me as a mighty awesome one. Therefore, my prosecutors will stumble and will not prevail. They will be greatly ashamed, for they will not prosper. Their everlasting confusion will never be forgotten.”

We all agree that sometimes the circumstances of life can be overwhelming. The negative voices around us get the upper hand, and we can begin to see our defeat just around the corner.

Jeremiah found, and history shows, that neither he nor you will ever be defeated. God will assign your enemies the eternal hall of shame.

It’s time to pray.

A King Inside Your Heart

If you have accepted Christ as your Savior and you&’re battling with condemnation in your heart, can I remind you that there&’s a King inside your heart that loves you? He says that you are more than a conqueror through Him.

All the things that God has promised will be fulfilled in your life. You will go into desolate places and make a difference there. The promise is that you will be like water on the earth and like a tree planted by rivers.

The fruit that God promised you will be born into your life, not by your might or your power, but by the Spirit of God. It won&’t be by works of righteousness that you have done. Because of His mercy, you will become everything that God has called you to be. If your heart condemns you, know today that God inside of you is more significant than your heart.

It&’s time to pray.
